Code:
dmesg
lsusb

Looks like the USB dongle has been discovered as a USB mass storage device. Usually they do that for windows, so that you can access the storage first, install the driver and after that they appear as network devices. I think I had read a solution for that somewhere, but I cannot find it. I suppose those 2 dongles are not the same right?

Hi, they are 2 different 3G modem, when I have this result:
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0af0:6971
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 16d8:6006
If I make first the modprobe usbserial for 6971, is ok I can use it, create the tty.
If I make first the 6006 create tty. But I need the two modem.

Do you have and idea ?

I want tell you:
One 3g modem is a option 225 when you do lsusb it's this one:
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0af0:6971, to create the ttyUSB0,1,2, the command is modprobe usbserial vendor=0x0af0 product=0x6971

The other is a XS Stick W12 4G, the lsusb is:
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 16d8:6006
After I make the command modprobe usbserial vendor=0x16d8 product=0x6006, but no more ttyUSB are create.

If I make the command first for the XS Stick, the ttyUSB are create.
With that I can say for the two modem, they are see for the system as really modem.
Regards

Maybe if you didn't specify the vendor and the product at the modprobe line, would that help?

Unfortunately I am not sure how to help you more on that. Maybe Fulvio could show a way to load multiple devices with the same module.
