I have tried to install dansguardiuan manually on my zeroshell server (running on an esxi server).
It worked fine with the transparent proxy until I restarted the zeroshell server. After the reboot the entire /etc/dansguardian folder is deleted.
Does anyone know a solution for this error.

System: zeroshell Release 3.6.0 running on a virtual machine on esxi

My apologies if I've missed something

Thanks!

Hi,
ZS is a `live` distro. This means it that everytihng ecept /DB folder is reconstructed at boot.
You need to install your software / packages under /DB folder and either run from there or copy them after reboot.

Thanks for your response.

1. I tried to install it via the package manager, nevertheless it is unavailable after reboot.

2. Could you please tell me how to install it manually in the /database folder.

Thank you!
