|
|
Hi.
I'd like to register a G.729 codec with asterisk on zeroshell so that my Net5501 can transcode voice calls from G711u.
I understand that there are a number of precompiled binaries of the G729a codec that are platform dependant and are downloaded from the digum web site following a license purchase.
Given that zeroshell was compiled from scratch and not based upon an existing distribution, how do I obtain the right build of codec? |

| Fulvio might want to include the free pre-compiled with an option of selecting to activate for those who wish to us? |

I remember reading such a request of wanting to register the G729a codec on Zeroshell though I don’t remember the details now but I am sure that Fulvio will be able to help you here and find a way out for you!! In fact, I am also curios to know the answer to this one – never know when it will come in useful!!

And how about codec g723 support? Has anyone tried to register it on Zeroshell?
