hello everyone. the distro is very good, but i don't know how doing balancing between 3 lines adsl. for separate works fine, but when i connect the 3 lines only work 1. the 3 lines are 256 download and 128 upload.
PD:my English is no so good because my language is Spanish.

My ISP has enabled Multilink PPP for both of my DSL lines (5000/800).
I have two seperate modems pluged into two seperate Ethernet cards.
It is my intention to build a small PC to act as a router and I wonder if Zeroshell supports Multilink PPP bonding?
I would like to combine my upload for a 1.6Mb link?

hi, anyone know how doing load balancing with 3 lines adsl 256/128, i have a p4 1gbram for this, i conect the 3 lines adsl and conects fine, but i dont know how balancing. if anyone it explains to me how doing that in a graphic form.

What type of load balancing are we talking about? Round Robin, Physical Layer Bonding (PHY), Inverse Multiplexing for ATM (IMA) or Multilink PPP (ML-PPP)? The first one can you carry out by yourself, but the other three must be implemented within your internet service provider's access node (IMA) or access network (ML-PPP) and the customer located equipment, except from PHY wich is completely transparent, and only needs to be configured in the SHDSL transceiver. The first thing you should do is to ask your internet service provider what DSL Bonding technology they support. ML-PPP is the only technology that is possible to configure within zeroshell, but your ISP must also support it.

If your ISP is not allowing MLPPP (which is fairly common), then you have 2 options.

1) Load balancing: This can be done by multi WAN routers. This will provide some reliability and some capacity increase, but you will not get increased speed.

2) Broadband Bonding: This is a new technology that enables bonding of Internet lines (not only DSL) from any service provider by using layer 4 algorithms. You can google the term "broadband bonding" for more information about the solutions in the market.
