Hi,
Just wondering if the MTU of the bonded interface can be greater than the MTU of the underlying WAN connections?

For example, can an MTU of 1508 pass over a bonded tunnel comprising 2x PPPoE ADSL (1492 MTU) circuits?

Thanks!

My understanding is that Zeroshell will encapsulate and fragment packets anyway over VPN tunnels. bonded or not. AT least I see a lot of fragment and reassemble statistics in SNMP.

If anyone has more information, please provide.
