Hello.

After installing the newer kernel and selecting it, the server has rebooted today with no reason, 3 times. I have reversed the installation to the 64-Bit Kernel 4.4.39 and the server is back to its normal operation. The problem with this kernel is that it doesn't support nDPI!

I guess we will have to wait until it is stabilized.

Hello;

I observed the same, but only on older hardware.

In these cases, the system restarts randomly.

On more modern hardware, I did not notice problems. The NDPI filter worked normally in these cases.

ciao,
it's happening the same here.
Gotta boot with the 4.9.27 kernel to be able to modify ndpi rules and then reboot with 4.4.39 to have the machine working without auto-reboots.

Hi.

My server is an HP ML130 Gen9, 2 months old.

Runs under non secure boot firmware, no UEFI obviously.

8Gb of RAM, 1TB HDD with two (2) Intel82580 I340-T4 E1G44HT E1G44HTBLK Quad Ports Gigabit Ethernet Server Adapters.

Very new and modern server.

New kernel had to be disabled.

Hi;

My most recent tests were with the following machines:
- Dell R210 II - No problem.
- Lenovo ThinkServer TS150 - No problem
- Lenovo 63 TW (Desktop / test) - No problem.

Detail that may be related to the problem: In all cases above, ZeroShell runs over XenServer.

In cases where I noticed a random reboot, they were machines with Xen-less installation.

On my Intel Atom D2500 mainboards so far new 64-bit kernel runs fine.

Intel D2500HN
Intel D2500CC
Asrock AD2550B-ITX

I guess we need more info about your hardware.

Hi;

One of the machines where I observed the problem:

- HP DL 120 G6;
- Intel Xeon CPU X3430 @ 2.40GHz
- 4 Gb RAM
- NIC┤s:
- Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411
- 2 x Broadcom BCM5723

With the 4.4.39-ZS kernel, it works fine.
