So your “Pre Boot” window looks like this (ignoring the modprobe line)? And the preboot script is enabled (check box on upper right part of window)?

And your files are located in /Database/custom like this?

I am not sure where the original ones are, I believe that they are decompressed out of a boot image but I haven’t investigated it. From an administrator’s point of view the only items that survive reboot are in /Database. But as you have found, the original scripts are not there.
