For more details you should read the how-to http://l7-filter.sf.net/Pattern-HOWTO Fulvio June 16, 2008 at 1:55 pm #46333 raven3433Member @fulvio wrote: The pattern files about the L7 filters are located in the directory /etc/l7-protocols. For more details you should read the how-to http://l7-filter.sf.net/Pattern-HOWTO Fulvio I am stuck in updating L7 filter Patterns. I downloaded the actual l7-protocols-2008-03-24 from l7-filters.sourceforge.net and untarred/unzipped to: /etc/l7-protocols AND /var/register/system/net/L7/.. but even after a reboot I cannot see the updated patterns in web interface. Any help appreciated RaVEn June 17, 2008 at 9:22 pm #46334 imported_fulvioParticipant You should not untar the compressed archive that contains the L7 patterns, but just put the downloaded archive in the file: /var/register/system/net/L7/l7-protocols.tgz After this operation you need to reboot the system to activate the new layer 7 patterns.
