Artheros 5416 / Beta 13

I’d like to get my atheros 5416 card working with beta 13.

I understand that the madwifi driver doesn’t support 5416 since version 10, I also understand that there is some technique in can use to load some module located in /lib/modules. This requires using shell prompts and commands that don’t seem to be documented on the forum

I’m no expert with shell commands, hence I was drawn to Zeroshell in the first place 😆

I’d really appreciate any help with this!!!!!

maybe there is an alternative card i can get that will work with less problems????

I don’t have wireless cards on ZS, but just to help you, in order to load a module in linux you type the command

modprobe madwifi

Normally the module has to be compiled beforehand. Search the forum, there are some guys who have succesfully compiled modules for ZS.
