We’d like to move our existing DHCP service over to Zeroshell, but we currently have around 500 dhcp reservations in the dhcpd.conf file on our SLES server.
Having looked through the way ZS generates the dhcpd.conf file from the data stored in /DB/var/register/system/dhcp/subnets at boot time, I can’t see any way of importing or tricking ZS into using an existing dhcpd.conf file, or at least the reservations part of it.
Is there any way to do this? It only needs done the once, from then on we can add IP/MAC pairs manually through the GUI.
TIA,
Andrew.
