    I’m not sure if I did something wrong or if there’s any fixes but captive portal doesn’t block UDP packets from passing through before authentication. User’s can use utorrent, skype, steam etc before authenticating. Is there any way to prevent this without completely blocking the above services?

    Found a solution with Startup/Cron and iptables:

    iptables -I FORWARD 1 -i ETH00+ -j CapPort

    I’m working on hashlimit per ip bandwidth limiting right now and if I have any luck I’ll post that. Any suggestions on packets per second?
