I am setting up a WISP and plan to use ZS to manage 5 WAN’s (1 x 100mbps fibre 200GB month limit, 4 x 8mbps adsl unlimited) also to provide radius server for wireless authentication of Ubiquiti AP’s. I wish to use the 100mbps fibre purely when subscribers (clients) are web surfing so they get fast browsing on all surfed sites; the other 4 adsl connections will be for everything else.
How is this done?
You can assign a loadbalancing rule in ZS to use the 100Mbps connection for a specific type of traffic, e.g http, https, mail, voip, and force the rest use the other 4 links by using a very high value in “weight”.On the other hand in the 100Mbps connection keep the weight either on 1 or 0 if it is accepted as a value.
I note than in earlier posts that QoS and Net Balancer could not be run at the same time, has this been fixed in Beta13?
