Hi all,
I am not an expert in networking, so this may be a silly question.
In the following ZeroShell configuration schema can the WAN Modem and the Ethernet Switch/WiFi Access Point be the same physical device?

(See https://www.zeroshell.org/hotspot-router/)
I kind of have it working with this setup :
– a wireless access point connected to the Internet. It has DHCP enabled: the DHCP default gateway and DNS server are set to the IP of the machine running Zeroshell
– Zeroshell has DHCP disabled. Its gateway address is set to the IP of the access point
Clients get the ZeroShell login screen and after logging in they can navigate with no issue. The problem is that I don’t see their traffic in the ZeroShell console, only a few transmitted bytes upon login. I need it because I want to put some limits on the amount of traffic.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Alessandro
