Seems a common thread here is the desire for user bandwidth accounting. I need to be able to identify heavy users so that I can remind them to back off (we will have roughly 75 users sharing a monthly 45GB download limit).
In the “accounting” menu, which lists users and their traffic, I can see usage. However, it would be nice to be able to (1) sort this list by usage, and (2) select all entries for reset/removal. This way an admin could quickly do a daily or weekly check, identify the top users, and reset it for next time.
Alternatively, bandwidthd can identify the top 20 users by IP and even graph them, but I see no way to reverse lookup an IP address to get a user name?
