Has anyone had a problem like this?
In my Company we have a Zeroshell router. There is NO VPN set on it!
In the Data Center we have vmWare servers, which are behind the Mikrotik router, on which the VPN access is set.
From my computer I connect to the VPN in the data center without any problems, and I can ping the servers. But when I want to open the vmWare console (HTTPS port 443) I get nothing, ie “the page cannot be found” error.
The VPN connection is established, and on the Mikrotik router in the Data Center I see that I’m connected and got a local VPN IP.
When I try the same thing from my computer at home, everything works great, the vmWare console works normally, which means that everything is fine in the Datacenter network.
The only difference is that I don’t have a zeroshell router at home, so I conclude that something in our Zeroshell is not set up properly.
In zeroshell we have a lot of portforward rules, including http/https (to our WEB server), but I don’t think that should matter for a VPN connection.
Can someone help me?
