    I am attempting to boot the 1.0.beta12 CompactFlash image from a CompactFlash card and I am seeing the same thing as the person who started this thread… in verbose mode the boot script generates these messages

    Loading root filesystem into RAM device... Success
    loop: module loaded
    VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem) readonly.
    Trying to move old root to /initrd ... okay
    Freeing unused kernel memory: 260k freed

    and then freezes (and the same happens even if I pass acpi=off to the kernel via the grub bootloader). Might anyone help me understand what this means or what other options I might try so that Zeroshell boots? Thanks!
